The sheep of Alta Langa and the tume of Murazzano
The Murazzano sheep is an indigenous breed from the Langhe, a region located in the northwest of Italy, in Piedmont. This breed of sheep is closely linked to the local dairy tradition and plays a fundamental role in the production of the famous Murazzano PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) cheese.
